THE CAMEL AND THE FOX

Once upon a time, a camel was the best friend of a fox.

One day, the fox requested from the camel to carry it on its hump and cross a nearby river with it.

The camel accepted and the fox jumped on the hump of the camel and sat on there. The camel crossed the river while the fox was on top of its hump. Once they were there on the other side of the river, the fox shouted. A man who owned a nearby farm came out and thought the camel was eating the crops in the farm.

The man held a stick and beat the camel badly. The fox hid under bushes. The camel yelped with a pain. Afterwards, the fox asked the camel to take it back across the river once more on the other side where they came from initially.

The camel accepted it. However, in the middle of the river, the camel sat. The fox drowned but the camel was not since the camel has a long tall neck.

The Tortoise and the Eagle

A Tortoise is unhappy and wishes to fly like an eagle. One day the eagle took him on a ride that changed his life.

The Tortoise and the Eagle.

It was a perfect summer day in the orchard. The Sun shone and the wind whispered softly in the trees. Yet the tortoise wasn't happy.

“Ohh” he sighed. “It's just terrible being a tortoise.” His friends were curious and asked “Why are you so glum? You have a lovely meadow to walk in, yummy apples to eat and a beautiful shiny shell.”

But the tortoise just mumbled and grumbled. “Ohh” he moaned, “it's horrible being me.”

All day long he watched an eagle in the sky. He admired her grace and the beauty of her golden feathers shimmered in the Sun. “I wish I was an eagle” he said. “I wish I could fly too”.

So he decided to try. He closed his eyes. He gritted his teeth. He flapped his arms and… HOPPED! But he couldn't get into the sky.

“I know” thought the tortoise, “I need to start up high.” So, he clambered onto a rock and jumped into the air… SPLOSH!* He just fell onto the soggy grass.

“I know” he thought again, “I need to climb higher.” So he decided to climb a tree and flung himself off… SPLAT!* He landed in a puddle of mud.

In despair the tortoise decided to call the Eagle up above. “Eagle! Eagle! Won't you take me into the sky?”

The Eagle swooped down from the clouds and asked, “Little tortoise, why do you wish to fly?” “So I can be just like you,” the tortoise replied.

“Hmm, very well” said the eagle, “I will take you into the sky.” So the Eagle grasped the tortoise in her talons and flapped her enormous wings. Up and up they rose, up through the clouds to the bright, blue sky. “I'm flying! I'm flying!” the tortoise shouted in joy.

They rose higher and higher. Below them the world looked tiny and as the tortoise gazed at the ground, his head felt dizzy, his tummy went wobbly and then he started to cry. “Oh Eagle! Eagle! Take me down! I don't like it up here in the sky.”

The Eagle carried the tortoise back to the ground. “Little tortoise” she said, “you have no feathers, you have no wings, you are not made for flying. Be happy with who you are.”

The tortoise watched the eagle soar up to the sky. He walked into the meadow eating an apple in the company of his good friends and said “I no longer want to fly. I'm happier being a tortoise and just being me.”

The End.

Diin ma faraxsana wuxuuna rajeynayaa inuu u duulo sidii galeyr oo kale. Maalin maalmaha ka mid ah ayaa galeyr qaaday oo la duulay markaas ayaana noloshiisu is baddasahay.

Diin iyo Galeyr

Waxaa lagu jiray xagaaga xilliyada xagaaga ugu fiican beerta dhexdeeda. Qorraxda ayaa soo iftay dabayshuna geedaha dhexdooda ayay soo martay aayar. Laakiin wali diinku wuxuu ahaa mid aan faraxsanayn.

“Alla” ayuu yiri. “Waxaa aad u xun in la ahaado diin.” Saaxiibadii ayaa hadalkiisa la yaabay oo weydiiyay “Maxaad aad ugu niyad jabsan tahay? Waxaad haysataa seere aad loo jecleysto oo lagu dhex socsocon karo, iyo tufaax aad u macaan oo la cuno waxaadna leedahay qolof qurxoon oo dhaldhalaalaya.”

Laakiin diinku wuu un guuxay oo gunuunacay. “Alla” sidaas ayuu ku taahay, “in qofi anoo kale noqdo waa wax laga naxo.”

Maalintii oo dhan wuxuu samada uu ka daawanaayay galeyrkii, wuxuu la dhacay sharaftiisa quruxda baalashiisa dahabiga ahna way dhalaalayeen qorraxda haysa awgeed. “Waxaan jeclaan lahaa inaan ahaado galeyr” sidaa ayuu yiri. Waxaan jeclaan lahaa inaan duuli karo sidoo kale”.

Marka wuxuu go` aansaday inuu isku dayo sidaas. Indhihiisa ayuu isku qabtay. Wuxuu isku maqiiqay ilkihiisa. Wuxuu babiyay gacmihiisa …..wuuna boodbooday! Laakiin ma uusan karin inuu duulo.

“Waan ogahay” ayuu is yiri diindiinku, “Waxaan u baahanahay inaan kor xagga sare ka bilaabo.” Marka, wuxuu fuulay dhagax korkiis wuxuuna ku booday hawada…BAQ! Wuxuu ku dhexdhacay caws qoyan.

“Waan ogahay” ayuu is yiri mar kale, “ Waxaan u baahanahay inaan meel kore fuulo.” Marka wuxuu go`aansaday inuu fuulo geed wuuna is tuuray…DHUBUQ!* Wuxuu ku dhacay god dhiiqo ah.

Asagoo quustay ayaa diindiinkii wuxuu go`aansaday inuu samada uga dhawaaqo  Galeyrkii “Galeyroow! Galeyroow! Miyaadan I gaarsiin karin cirka?”

Galeyrkii daruuraha ayuu kasoo dagay wuxuuna ku yiri, Diindiin yare, maxaad u jeceshahay inaad duusho?” “Waxaan rabaa inaan kula mid noqdo,” Diindiinkii ayaa sidaa yiri.

“Hmm, Waa hagaag’ ayuu yiri galeyrkii, “ Waxaan kuu qaadayaa cirka.” Markiiba, Galeyrkii ciddiyaha ayuu ku qaatay diindiinkii baalashiisii weynaa ayuuna isla dhacay. Hawada sare ayeyna isla koreen, kor daruuraha dhexdooda ilaa ay ka gaareen cirka buluugga ah ee aadka u ifaya ayey isla aadeen. “Waan duulayaa! Waan duulayaa! Diindiinka ayaa farxad darteed ku dhawaaqay.

Meel aad u sareysa ayey isla koreen. Aduunka ka hooseeya ayaa u ekaaday dhibic yar markuu diindiinkii uu soo eegay dhulka, madaxa ayuu ka dawakhay, calooshiisii ayaa isla kacday wuxuuna bilaabay oohin. “Galeyrow! Galeyrow! Dhulka igee! Meeshaan sare ee cirka gudihiisa ah ma jecli.”

Galeyrki ayaa dib ugu celiyay dhulka diindiinkii. “ Diindiin yare, ayuu yiri, ma qabtid baalal, ma laguugu tala galin inaad duusho. Sida aad tahay ku faraxsanow.”

Diindiinkii wuxuu daawaday galeyrkii oo sii koraayo cirka. Wuxuu ku dhex socday dhulkii seeraha ahaa asagoo cunaayo tufaax lana socdo saaxiibadiisii wanaagsanaa wuxuuna yiri “ Mar danbe ma rabo inaan duulo. Waxaan ku faraxsanahay inaan ahaado diindiin iyo sideyda.”

Dhammaadka.
